A wider view of the Abyssal Plain created as a demonstration concept piece for the Hell level of Pees in the Skies. The Abyssal Plain serves as the hub environment to all dungeon and quest areas in Hell. It is populated with a variety of minor imps and demons, most of which can be encountered if one deviates from the wide and winding road that leads to the great necropolis at the center of the plains. In the lower right corner you can see the small pipe that leads beneath the necropolis and into the heart of the volcano, Wrath. It spills forth venom that slowly poisons any who try to take this secondary path to the volcano levels in order to avoid the vast armies of devils that populate the foothills.
